Message to Clients Re Covid-19 Situation

Following our first 3 weeks of social distancing, we have all adjusted to living and working in very strange conditions. Gordon and Rumsby has adjusted too and I (Julie) have adopted a pattern of working from home with a once a week visit to the office. Our work is considered non-essential of course and so we are unable to offer physical visits to property at this time. Before lock down, we were able to carry out some video tours on a few empty properties and these have been uploaded to our website and can also be accessed through Rightmove and Zoopla. The internet activity has increased with people having more time on their hands and so most properties are being viewed more frequently on-line. I am more than happy to answer questions on properties that we are marketing and can provide advice if you are thinking of selling. For anyone confident with the technology available, I would be happy to join in with on-line face to face meetings whereby, I may be able to provide virtual valuations if required. For sales already agreed, the Conveyancing is continuing successfully and some lenders are accepting virtual mortgage valuations. I have attended a good many webinars within the industry to keep up to date with legal guidelines as well as providing ideas for making the best of the situation.
